Funny story!

O.K., I’ve only had a blog for a few minutes now and I already have a funny story! Most of you know that last week we got our power back after 11 (yes that’s right, ELEVEN) days with no electricity. (trust me, you will hear more about this later)

One day before going to teach my class at Houston Baptist University, I tried to dry my hair using the single box fan we had in our house. I sat in front of it for what seemed like forever hoping somehow it would make my hair look somewhat blown dry or styled.

When I was telling my students about it one of them remarked…..“Mrs. Baerg, you are SO ghetto!” I laughed and told him that people had said a lot of things about me but I had never heard anyone say I was “SO ghetto!”

When I was coming up with a name for this blog (more on that later too), I typed the name as all one word…..igetto.com. I realized it looked a whole lot like “ghetto” so I added in the dashes.

Who knows though, I may be a little more ghetto than I thought!
