Big Day!

After months of waiting for just the right day, today Savannah was baptized!  It was worth the wait as both sets of grandparents were able to be here.  I especially wanted my mom to be there as she witnessed Savannah’s arrival into this world and today she was there to watch as Savannah showed the world that she has been born for another (eternal) world.

Savannah was very excited, requested a new cross necklace (which her Grandy sweetly went out and bought) and she woke up quite early on the big day.

It was a special day for a special girl.

We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.  Romans 6:4
