Whine about the Swine

Please join me in my moment of silence as I reflect on how beautiful my little niece Addison is and how sad I am that she will not be road tripping it to Texas this weekend for a visit.

Yes, Arkansans do love their hogs, but they are not fans of the swine flu.

And seeing how my state borders Mexico and I have four kids who could be carrying untold numbers of germs, they have canceled their trip.

I don’t blame them for not coming although I will miss them.

I am officially vowing to never say “how ‘bout them hogs!” ever again.
